REGISTRATION AND ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

Admission is granted to classes LKG to standard X. Application form and prospectus may be obtained from the school office.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORMS:

The application form for registration, complete in all respects should be submitted at the school office along with the following documents:-

  • 2 latest passport size photographs.
  • Original Transfer Certificate of the school last attended.
  • Xerox of the progress report of the school last attended.

The selection and admission will be made by the principal after scrutinizing the application and assessing the student's performance in the previous class.

SCHOOL HOURS:

  • Forenoon session - 9am to 12:30p.m
  • Lunch - 12:30p.m to 1:15p.m
  • Afternoon session - 1:15p.m to 3:30p.m

ACADEMIC YEAR:

The academic year of the school is from June to May. The school opens for the new academic year in the second week of june. Ten days holidays are given in Sept/Oct and in Dec/Jan.

SYSTEMS OF EDUCATION:

The medium of instructions is English the student is required to learn 3 languages. As (1) English (2) Indian Language as Hindi or Telugu or Urdu (3) Telugu.

EVALUATION SYSTEM :

  • Classes I to V. There will be 4 term Exams ending with Final Exams in April.
  • Classes VI to X will be 4 Unit Tests one Quarterly, One Half Yearly ending with Final Exams in April.
  • Classes X - There will be 3 Unit Tests and 3 Pre-finals.

HOMEWORK:

It is particularly geared towards skill building, time management and responsibility. Projects are given either to complete individually or in groups. Interesting projects on topics of their choice- help them discover new horizons, break through frontiers and surpass set standards. Parents are encouraged to volunteer in various ways in the school. They are invited once a month on a fixed day, to meet teachers and here about the classroom procedures and their child's progress. Children's capabilities are more important - with today's ever-changing needs, tomorrow's expectations and parental pressure. Minimum homework against no homework, no corporal punishment, no heavy school bags and adequate time to develop literary skills, Sports and games is what MBHS is working for The school also provides remedial classes for children who have special learning needs.

PROGRESS REPORT:

Progress report are prepared 5 times a year. All subjects are evaluated. Marks and remarks are written to describe the child's progress in class. Parent Teacher meets are held every month where the performance of the student is discussed.

GENERAL RULES:

  • Students must converse in English in school campus.
  • Damage to school property, indecent language and behaviour are punishable offences.
  • Student caught copying will be suspended from school.
  • Student must be in the school campus by 8:50 a.m.
  • No student can leave the school premises without prior notice.
  • Re-examination for any reason will not be conducted; therefore requests should not be made.
  • Students are not allowed to come to the school on 2 wheelers
  • Fees should be paid on time
  • Library books should be returned on time. Late fees of Rs.1/-. Per day Will be charged after due date.

WITHDRAWALS :

  • Year end withdrawals must be intimated in writing to the school office before 31st March failing which a penality of one additional term fee will be charged/ the caution deposit is forfeited.
  • A student who leaves during the academic year will have to pay one full term fee other than the term, which he is leaving.

REFUNDS:

Under no circumstances will any refund be made once the child has been granted the admission.
